Hope African Adventures is a brand with a bold, unapologetic yet uniquely human spirit. Headed up by the passionate & driven Katherine, Hope African Adventures offers its clients a wonderfully personal way to explore Africa. The trips she designs are filled with hope, magic and adventure and her new branding had to capture that exuberant energy and vitality. This is not your typical travel agency, Hope African Adventures takes people beyond the expected and holds every traveller safely while they reach beyond their comfort zones. The new visual branding and website is built on a foundation of curiosity, creativity and an unshakeable love for what Africa gives to all of those who explore her.

comprehensive custom website
The custom emblem for HAA is a hand-drawn zebra but with carefully structured edges. The more geometric look adds a strength to the overall look ensuring it’s not too playful or child-like. It is also reminiscent of traditional African pattern-work without being on the nose & the simplified overall design scales well giving you lots of flexibility for applications. A completely custom wordmark reflects the structured yet organic feel from the mood board, playing on the masculine / feminine balance & helping to give the brand a playful & adventurous feel. The supporting text is also hand-drawn but with more structure for legibility and slightly softer edges. The all-uppercase type adds legibility & ensures the brand feels professional.
